Roz ana, the stylish Indian restaurant situated on Kingston Hill, has reinvented the traditional curry house concept, by giving it a unique and modern twist - just what discerning local residents have been waiting for.

With a smart yet casual approach, book a table at Roz ana if you like your meals original, authentic and relatively healthy – with less oils and rich, heavy sauces used, the food here is lighter and less overbearing than standard Indian restaurants.

Everything here is delivered with style – from your aperitif cocktail which is mixed at the in-house bar, to the ubiquitous poppadoms served with some rather fabulous home-made chutneys and the presentation of the food itself. Roz ana blends Indian cuisine with influences from European and other Asian cuisines to offer its guests dishes which 'are in keeping with our multi-cultural and multi-influenced society.'

Menu highlights include the wonderful coconut soft shell crab – crispy crab, tossed with coconut, accompanied with pickled tomato & shrimp dip (£8), chicken tikka Laphroaig masala, which is flambeed with smokey single malt Laphroaig whiskey (£10) and pork belly vinha d'alhos – slow cooked pork belly in a tongue tickling spicy sauce from Goa. The Darjeeling tea crème brulee (£5) served with cardamon cookies is also well worth a mention.

Each zone in the restaurant has a different atmosphere: meet up with friends for drinks in the stylish lounge bar, enjoy an intimate table for two in the buzzy ground floor dining area, or get a party together and make the most of the spacious first floor restaurant. In Hindi, Roz ana literally means 'come back every day', and this is the restaurant's mission - to deliver first-class Indian food and service day in, day out.
